I am pregnant, so when I got the invitation for the population screening I declined. It was a simple procedure via the website. You enter when you are due and you immediately see when you get a new invitation. That’s 40 days after your delivery. I have several girlfriends where abnormal cells have been found. I didn’t expect that because they are still very young. I’m quite shocked to hear their stories, so my mind is already made up that I will take part in the population screening after my pregnancy. What I am still in doubt about is how: Do I do a self-test or make an appointment with the GP? That depends on how I feel after the pregnancy. But if it is offered to you for free, why not take part?
